Key Researchers appointed by NUS shall consist of the following faculty who will be able to provide essential strengths in such areas as technology, robotics, MEMS and power electronics for wearable computing, game design, etc.

Adrian D. Cheok (Co-Director)
Present Position: Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore
Domain: Interactive Embodied Media, Entertainment and Cultural Computing, Augmented Reality.
Current research includes new facilities within human media spaces supporting embodied, multi-modal interaction between humans and animals, with the aim of novel interactive communication and entertainment.

Henry Duh
Present Position: Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore
Domain: Human-Computer Interaction, Mobile Interaction, Social Computing, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, Interaction and Experience Design, Cognitive Engineering, Virtual Reality, Usability Engineering.
Current research includes: Current research focuses on user experiences, interaction design and game effects in advanced display and mobile systems.

Marcelo H. Ang
Present Position: Associate Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering
Domain: Compliant Motion during Mobile Manipulation, Distributed autonomous robotic systems and sensor/actuator networks, computer control and intelligent systems. Current research activities include (1) the design and realization of practical robotic mobile manipulation in unstructured and human environments; (2) mobile robotic systems integrated in sensor networks for motion-based behaviour detection and recognition.

Liang Yung-Chii
Present Position: Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering  Domain: Silicon microsystems and integration, Micro fuel cell for portable electronics, Ferroelectric photovoltaic devices; Energy harvesting and conversion; Micro-dust sensing networks.

Sanjib Kumar Panda
Present Position: Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Domain: Energy Harvesting, Low-power Power Electronics Circuit Design and Energy Management. Current research includes energy harvesting from various renewable energy sources for very low power mobile electronic products and intelligent sensor nodes, Low-power power electronic circuit design and energy management for wireless sensor networks.

Shuzhi Sam Ge
Present Position: Professor, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering , Director, Social Robotics Lab of Interactive Digital Media Institute; Director, Edutainment Robotics Lab of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore.
His current research interests are in robotics for education, entertainment and social interactions, intelligent control and system design, adaptive control and applications, and Intelligent multimedia interaction for education and entertainment.

Timothy Marsh
Present Position: Assistant Professor, Communications and New Media, National University of Singapore.
Domain: Virtual and Game Environments, Interactive Experiential and Learning Media, Interactive Narrative and Digital Cinema, Human-Computer Interaction. Current research interests are in analysis and design of emerging and converging interactive and digital media (IDM) and how it is shaped by, and in turn supports, our individual, social and cultural activities with emphasis on IDM and activities that are engaging, experiential and provide entertainment and learning.
