
Roger Thomas Tan is a Master Research Scholar in the Mixed Reality Lab in Singapore. His works have been published on several conferences and journals such as: LASTED, ICUTE, SWITCH, Sketches SIGGRAPH and more.
His works include the Biotherm Homme and Lancome flash presentations which help won 1st runner-up for the Nanyang Technological University Team (Singapore), beating numerous other countries, in the Annual International L’Oréal Marketing Awards (now known as Brandstorm) held in Paris, June 2004; the Studio Line flash presentation used by the National University Singapore Team in the Annual Brand Storm 2005 held in Paris, France, June 2005; the design and development of the online flash game for the internationally acclaimed Singapore International Racing Festival and the Singapore Airlines International Cup held in Singapore, May 2006; the video presentation for MICA to showcase Singapore in the Global Leadership Forum on Economic and Cultural Development held in San Jose, USA, August 2006; the online Sudoku flash game for Brand’s Sudoku Challenge in STOMP, Straits Time website, March 2007 and Classical Meets Media, an interactive digital media which create virtual graphics in real-time based on musical instrutment played, showcased in University Cultural Centre, NUS for the program “Object of Desire” in April 2007. On the Press/Media side, his work on Metazoa Ludens have been reported in The Straits Time (reported twice), the internationally acclaimed Wired News (USA), international magazie News Scientist Tech, PC World and more.
In addition his work on Metazoa Ludens has been selected by Wired News (USA) as the top 100 innovation for the year 2007 and following the internationally acclaimed exhibition, Wired NextFest, which is held in LA, USA in September 2007.
His research interests are in the area of human-computer interaction, human-pet interaction and digital interactive media with a focus on digital entertainment and computer games.

Kasun Karunanayake is MEng student who joined to the Mixed Reality Lab since January 2009. His main research interests are human computer interaction, embedded systems and mobile application development. He worked as a Java Software Engineer in a Sri Lankan software firm and has nearly 2 year experience in commercial J2EE and J2ME application development. He has been actively involved in projects such Mobile extention for SAHANA Disaster Management System, Land titling and related services project in Sri Lanka, Telco service provider’s customercare ,loyalty and Mobile Delivery Platform applications, JMX based Application monitoring solution, Home Security and Controling System, Mobile Remote Desktop , stock exchage ,chat and dictionary applications. His hobbies are traveling , reading and enjoy with friends.
