Phan Nguyen Thuy Duong is an undergraduate student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic in charge of color changing display part. Color changing display is one of the important parts in Huggy Pajama. There are five human senses in human beings to interface with the surrounding medium such as hear, vision, smell, touch and taste. By all these senses, human beings can express their emotions. For example, when we watch a sad movie, we cry (sense of vision), or when we meet an old friend, we hug him or shake his hand (sense of touch), or when we smell fragrance of some food, we feel hungry (sense of smell).Touching sense is being discovered in air actuating module. The color changing module will focus more on the vision sense. In Huggy Pajama project (Mixed Reality Lab), there are two ways to change colors. One is chemical color changing; the other one is electronic color changing. Phan Nguyen’s task is electronic color changing. She is building a prototype which let the users choose which LED and color they want to light up from PC.
